The Ozark Craft Show was an absolute success! Thank you everyone for your feed back and support. We met so many nice people and some awesome contacts! I have some wonderful things that will be coming up this spring. And hopefully, you will soon see my line in couple of shops here in Springfield. I'm so excited!
My heart and mind have been siffing through so many thoughs on where to take this new brand of mine. Color schemes being one of them. Im definitely inspired all of the time. Here are some of the things Im loving and thinking about.
I absolutely love grays, whites and blues. Its so hard to decide...

My first craft show, Am I crazy
I thought I would give a craft show a try. I have 1 1/2 month left. I think of new ideas everyday. I find myself getting a little overhelmed. I have an idea of what I want it to look like and I hope I can pull it off.
Ideas: Halloween and Fall - Black and Orange... No! I wanna change it up. I like spooky elements, dark purple, navy blue, and burlap. With these colors you can use them fall and winter. Its a look thats never going to go out of style and you can use for many years to come.
Mums - I love mums! Its probably one of my favorite things about Fall. (Besides pumpkin spice lattes from starbucks) Im going to have new and creative ideas on how to plant these beautiful flowers. I cant wait to show off!
Pumpkins - Only white pumpkins this year. That way you can use them all season for decorating tables and your front porches. Again, I have some cool ideas for them. Different than you've seen before.
Here are some of the things I have finished so far...
Spooky Spell Books and Potion Bottles made from old books and vintage bottles
*You cant forget the spooky doll heads
Vintage button garland (you can use these for wraping gifts or hang them up for parties)
Simple wreath
Necklaces made from vintage fabric, buttons and pins
Please stop by my booth! Last weekend of Sept. Ozark, Mo Booth Name: Birds of a Feather

About Me
Well here we go! I'm mother of twin boys that are seven, a step-daughter thats eight and I just recently became a wife to a wonderful man by the name of Corey. Who is my soul mate, best friend, and just an all around amazing man.
All my life I have loved vintage and junk markets! I can remember as a child spending alot of my weekends watching my mother create and decorate our home. Has I have gotten older, I have found myself turning in to my mother. Although the 18 year old me would have died at that thought, I have found my self falling in love with the same things. Gardening, junk shops, party planning, and taking something thats unloved and making it new. I have new obsessions daily and love all different tastes.
A couple of weeks ago I was layed off from my job thus, giving me lots of time to be creative. Over the past years, I have had many thoughts and ideas that I have had locked away. So that is the reason for this blog. That way I dont have to keep them inside anymore!
As I look around me, I am surrouned by things I have found at junk shops or were given to us. Things like, my craft table that I bought for $30 at yard sale, down to the bird house at I bought for $1 (that I repainted myself) at the local auction. Hopefully, you can learn to look at things with a different set of eyes. Think of what it could be :)
